Our research was aimed to input and develop endoscopic and other minimally invasive interventions in the field of neurosurgery. Armenian Association of Minimal Invasive and Endoscopic Spine Surgery (AAMIESS) was initiated and established on the ground of collaboration of both Armenian and foreign leading professionals specializing in the treatment of spine and spinal abnormalities including minimally invasive surgeries. We also work closely with NASS- (North American Spine Surgery Association) and hold open online discussions related to the treatment of various diseases. Our sphere of interest is not limited to endoscopic surgeries of the spine but the brain as well. In this regard, we hold a firm cooperation with the University Clinic of Homburg (Germany). Spinal stimulation is an innovation in the Armenian neurosurgery which we invested in our practice in cooperation with Dutch Breda Pain Treatment Clinic. Owing to the objectives of the association we actively participate in international scientific conferences on the latest methods of treatment of various diseases of the spine and brain. In 2016 the Armenian Association "Stroke" was established together with neuropathologists. Our Association is also engaged in experimental work and collaborates with various international experimental centers. We have successfully designed Discobore (license 463 S, 2016 Graz) a tool for spinal surgeries which significantly facilitates the process of endoscopic disc surgery.
